Steve Lamond Fredrick David, the son of Clarence Frederick David & Lillie Mae Machen. He was born & raised in Idaho.
In about 1952 he entered the air force & completed Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force base, near San Antonio, Texas. This began a long history of close ties with military bases & employment, for Steve.
Upon returning to Idaho on leave, he met his first wife, Maloah Lee GLOVER. In 1956 they married. During this marriage he had two sons; Trevor & Trenton.
Within a couple years their marriage ended & Steve moved to Colorado, where he continued to have ties to the Air Force/military community.
In Colorado he met his second wife, Juanita Mann. They married Feb 1959 in a civil ceremony in Denver. When Juanita met him, he introduced himself as "Rockie Madison". It wasn't until standing in the court house filing marriage papers, that he cited his legal name. This wasn't the first time or the last, that Steve would use aliases. During this second marriage, there were four children born: Jerry F, Curtis Robert, Sheryl Lorene & Victor Lamond.
Steve moved his young family around a lot as he worked various jobs. During the 15 years of marriage, the young family moved to Idaho, Washington, Nevada & Colorado several times. Often moving several times within a community as well as states away from previous locales.
By 1970 the marriage between Steve & Juanita dissolved in divorce (Yerington, Nevada).
A month later Steve married again; Delores B COLIN. Delores was his third marriage. By 1972 Steve left Nevada & Delores, reappearing in Arkansas.
In June 16, 1973 Bowie county, Texas records show him marrying Charline Rochelle. Within two years, he was marrying Flossie Morgan of Texas on Feb 11, 1974 in Bowie county, Texas. Sometime between Feb 1974 and April 5, 1977, he married someone by the name of Wilma, who divorced him in the North Carolina courts on April 5th. By 1980 Steve was living in South Carolina, outside of Sumter. There he married a woman by the name Margaret. This marriage, like most only lasted a couple years. Like most of his other marriages, he worked in and on the nearby military base; this time Shaw Air Force base.
By 1983 he moved from Sumter area to Newport, North Carolina (not far from MCAS Cherry Point military base) and married a widow he had met. By 1986 he was announcing a new marriage, this time to Geraldine Van Hoesen, the widow of Clifford Van Hoesen.
By Sept 15, 1989 Steve's marriage to Geraldine was over & he now entered into marriage with "Billie Jean" & resided in Quitman, Brooks, Georgia; another small town on the outskirts of a military base. Later in 1989, Billie Jean & Steve moved to Marydel, Kent, Delaware; not far from Dover military base.
By July 25th, 1991 Steve was entering into marriage with "Peggy M" and was living in Whitley, Kentucky. By 1992 he is in Camden Wyoming, Deleware. In 1992 he was residing at: RR 7 PO Bx 406a, Corbin, Kentucky. During some time during this period he married a woman named "Wilma". By Feb 2, 1993 Wilma filed divorce papers in Florida in Sumter county, Florida.
By 1994 Steve moved from Kentucky and travels to Arizona, North Carolina & Louisiana & later settles in Texas. Sometime in 1997 he marries Jackie Whatley and he live in her home outside of Rusk, Texas until his death.
Steve is survived by his children, Trevor, Jerry, Trenton, Curtis, Sheryl & Victor. Several grandchildren & great-grandchildren, as well as three sisters Mona Rose Doraline DAVID & Carroll Ann David Ivie, Shaireen Joyce DAVID BUFFALO. He was proceeded by his sister, Callelda Jean DAVID who died as an infant & his brother Jerry "Peter" Joseph DAVID; along with his parents.
