Mrs. Palmer was born May 10, 1898, at Sidney, a daughter of Joseph and Ida Riggs McElroy. She married Claude E. Palmer in 1920, he died in 1980. Surviving are three sons, Claude Palmer Jr of Homer, Carl Palmer of DeBary, Florida, and Charles Palmer of Gainesville, Florida; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Mrs. Palmer was a member of the Homer United Methodist Church.
