Isaac was born in Darby Twp. Philadelphia (Now Delaware) County PA. He was the son of John and Joan (Elliot) Kirk He then migrated to Bucks County, PA. It is believed that he is the one who started the Kirk Family line in Bucks County. He lived in Newtown Twp. Bucks County. Then in 1729 he settled on 100 acres of land in Lower Buckingham Twp. that he purchased from John Brock for 90 pounds. He was married twice. His first wife was Elizabeth Twining who he married in 1730. They had 6 children. He then married a widow named Rachel Kinsey in 1746. (Her maiden name was Fell) They had one son together named Thomas. Cemetery records show that Isaac is buried in the cemetery. It was thought that his grave wasn't mark, but now it has been discovered that it is marked.
