She was born in Gloucester, MA on June 3, 1928, daughter of the late Fred and Lillier (Dennison) Strople.
Gerry was employed as a shirt presser for several local businesses including Union Hill Cleaners, Greels Cleaners and later at DeMarco's Cleaners.
She enjoyed baking for her family and loved being at home. She was quite the homemaker.
Gerry will be missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by five sisters, Marjorie Benjamin, Muriel McNair, Lillia Hilshey, Lucille Strople and Jean Strople and three brothers, Robert Strople, Donald Strople and Stanley Strople.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Ann's Church, Holy Family Parish on Friday, December 28, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
A visiting hour will precede the Mass in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., Gloucester on Friday from 9 – 10 a.m.
The burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester.
