WILLIAM CARNE
William Carne of 611 Swede Street, Norristown, former Nanticoke resident. died Tuesday at the Montgomery County Hospital, Norristown.
Mr. Carne was born in Nanticoke, son of the late William and Elizabeth Carne, who lived most of their life in Hanover Township. He was formerly employed at Loomis Colliery, Glen Alden Corporation, and the last two years was superintendent of an apartment building in Norristown.
Surviving are his wife, Anna; son, William, Norristown; sisters and brothers, Mrs. Ira Hess, Hanover Green; Russell Carne, Korn Krest; Mrs. Dewey Thomas, Lee Park; Mrs. Elizbeth Shaffer, Hanover, Pa.; Albert Karne, Portland, Ore.
Funeral will be held from the funeral home, 270 East Main St., Nanticoke, Saturday at 2 p.m. with interment in Hanover Green Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 2 to 5 and 7 tp 10.
