Richard E. "Dick" Curns, 66, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.

He was born March 13, 1946, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Alvin H. and Mary Lou (Smith) Curns. June 26, 1965, he married Jeannine Adams, and she survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, of Summerville, S.C., and of Tiffin; a brother,of Tiffin; five sisters, of Old Fort, of McCutchenville; and ,two of Tiffin, of Fremont; and four granddaughters,

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dick graduated in 1964 from Old Fort High School and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. After high school, he worked for Waldo Zies Builders and then became self employed as Curns Builders. He built many homes around the area and was a member of the Seneca County Home Builders. He also was part owner of Clinton Heights Golf Course. Dick enjoyed traveling in his RV to South Carolina and relaxing in his chair with his two dogs on his lap. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters.
Burial will follow in Pleasant Union Cemetery in Old Fort
