Married Jeremiah H. Masterson on 23 Dec 1860. He died 20 Jun 1889. He was accidently killed while hauling grain. His horses were spooked and he jumped off the wagon and it crushed his ribs and chest killing him almost instantly.
Emily C Masterson was in the 1920 Census living with her son George Masteson in Wyandotte, Wyandotte, Kansas. She died at the home of her daughter, Mary "Molly" Masterson, wife of Linton Earl Grinter.
Find a Grave volunteer reported:
Large marker where her husband is buried does not include Emily on either the front or the back. Back of the marker is unfinished rough stone. Cemetery records indicate she is buried here but location is not given. Either her grave is unmarked, or she was in fact buried next to her husband but her name was never added to his stone. I did also walk the cemetery to make sure she didn't have a marker somewhere else.
