Delphene "Amy" Moore

Delphene "Amy " Moore a resident of Centralia for the past 25 years, coming from Montana, died on Wednesday, October 11, 1995 at St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.
She was born on September 13, 1913 in Post Falls, Idaho to James and Maude (McGuin) Wright. She was married to George Elwood Moore at Post Falls, Idaho on January 23, 1934. In the early days of her marriage she worked at Wright-McGill in Denver, Colorado, where she tied flies and fish hooks for fishing. She also worked as a cannery processor in the Skagit Valley area during the harvest season.
She was preceded in death by her husband George in 1981, son Delmus Moore, and daughter Wilma (Louise) Moore, Molford. Survivors include son Chuck Moore of Anacortes, Washington; daughter Evelyn Logue of Arlington, Texas; sisters Laura Rude of Gold Bar, Washington and Lois Ferguson of Phoenix, Oregon; beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Her memberships included AARP and the Lewis County Senior Center. She was a faithful rider on the Twins Transit Bus and was a devoted friend to the riders and drivers.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 16, 1995 starting at 1:30 PM at Newell-Hoerling's Chapel with Pastor Raymond Nelsen officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Centralia. Services conclude at the chapel.
Arrangements under the direction of Newell-Hoerling's Chapel, Centralia, Washington. Visitation on Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM at Newell-Hoerling's Chapel, Centralia.
