ANTLEY-Mrs. Louise Bedenbaugh Antley, age 87, of Graniteville, S.C., wife of the late Mr. Thomas E. Antley and daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Wright (Eula Blair) Bedenbaugh, entered into eternal rest on Christmas Day, December 25, 2012. Mrs. Antley was born in Prosperity, S.C. but moved to Orangeburg, SC, as a child where she resided for more than 50 years, until she moved to Trinity on Laurens in Aiken, SC for the past seven years. She was a faithful and active member of Orangeburg Lutheran Church for over fifty years, serving in many capacities of leadership, including teaching, church council, committees, and Lutheran Church Women. At the time of her death she was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Graniteville where her son serves as pastor. She was a graduate of Winthrop College with an associate degree and a women's auxiliary member of the Elks and the Shrine Club. She worked as a secretary, retiring from Goodman Glass Company. Mrs. Antley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and she shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 87 precious years that God granted her until she passed to her heavenly home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening, December 27th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life and the hope of the resurrection in Christ Jesus will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. James Lutheran Church in Graniteville, S.C. with Rev. James Addy officiating and her grandson, Rev. Jason Antley, giving the eulogy. The interment will be at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg, S.C. The grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Barry T. and Debbie Antley of Graniteville, S.C.; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Lanny Reavis of Gastonia, N.C.; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
