Mrs. Hines died Friday, January 7, 1972, in Hobbs Lea General Hospital after a long illness.
She was born August 10, 1906, in Calvin, OK and was the daughter of a pioneer ranching family who settled in the Roswell area when she was a young girl.
Mrs. Hines had been living with her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Murphy, in Hobbs for the past two years.
Survivors include her daughter; one son, Bill Wright of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; two brothers. Monroe Cartright of Artesia, N.M,; and Max Cartright of Pinon, NM; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Lambert of Denver, Colo.
and Mrs. Gertrude Micheal of Albuquerque, NM; and two grandchildren.
