Adrian Beavin, prominent agricultural leader, died at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital on Monday, January 25, 1971, at the age of 49. He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Louise West, of McQuady; a son, Adrian Phillip Beavin, also of McQuady; a daughter, Mrs. Laurel Hawley of Lexington; his mother, Mrs. James Beavin, Hardinsburg; and a sister, Miss Margaret Beavin, also of Hardinsburg. The Rev. Father Arnold Meiring conducted the Requiem Mass from St. Romuald Catholic Church, in Hardinsburg, on Friday, January 29 at 10:00 a.m. Interment was in the St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery, McQuady, under the direction of Dowell Funeral Home. Pallbearers included J.W. Lyons, Ed Mercer, Ralph Dodson, Rudolph Brumfield, F.T. Poole and J.C. Blancett.
