George Pearson Is Called by Death
Mr. George Pearson, 1605 West First Street, died Monday of a heart ailment of which he had been ill for six months.
George Pearson was born on a farm near Peoria, Illinois, June 30, 1860. When a young boy he moved with his family to Chatsworth, Ill., where he lived for several years, later moving to Nebraska. In 1891 he entered the plumbing business. On March 8, 1892, he was united in marriage to Miss Hilma Ehn, a union to which twelve children were born.
Surviving to mourn his loss besides his wife are: Miss Florence Pearson, and Clarence Pearson, of Denver; Mrs. Ben Cessna, of Elizabeth, N. J.; Bert, of Grand Island; Mrs. Dale Huntwork, of San Jose, California; Mrs. Harold Bunting of Elizabeth, N. J.; George Pearson, Jr., of Red Cloud, Nebraska; Mrs. Walter Harrison, Floyd Pearson, all of this city; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Swartz, of North Platte; eight half brothers, Fred Pearson, of Fairmont, Nebr.; Charles and Will, of Iowa, Ed, Elmer, Phil, Arthur and Ira of Illinois, and two half sisters, Mrs. Ada Felt, of Pasadena, Calif., and Cora Dann, of Iowa. Burial was in the Grand Island cemetery.
