Funeral services were held at 2pm Thursday in the Broken Arrow Assembly of God Church for Mrs. Flora Mae (Brammer) Shook, of Broken Arrow, who died October 9, 1979 at the age of 79.

A native of Mulberry, Arkansas, she had moved to Oklahoma in 1923.

She had worked for Seismographic Corporation and McDonnell-Douglas Company in Tulsa. She was a past president of the Broken Arrow American Legion Auxiliary, a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her husband, James of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Bennett and Mrs. Lavonne Powers, both of Tulsa and Mrs. Flossie Grimes of Broken Arrow; four sons, J.W. Shook of Wagoner, Odell N. Shook of Tulsa, E.L. Shook of New Orleans, Louisiana and R.L. Shook of Lamesa, Texas; one sister, Ms. Bonnie Johnson of Oildale, California; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
