OVERTON - Graveside services for Gary Maxted, 52, Houston, son of an Overton resident, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Mason Cemetery, Arp, with the Rev. J.B. Morris officiating under direction of Rader Funeral Home, Kilgore.
Mr. Maxted died Oct. 31, 2006, at his residence. He was born March 16, 1954, in Houston, where he grew up and graduated from Lutheran High School. He was an artist, creating designs for Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Co. and others. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Maxted.
Survivors include his wife; son; daughter; mother; brother; nieces and nephews.
If desired, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
