Stewart— Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Verda Rode, on the Chase road, April 9th. Mrs. Susan Stewart, widow of the late J. Harvey Stewart, aged 80 years. She is survived by her daughter, a son, Frank Stewart of the West River Road; a sister, Mrs. John Ouderkirk of Fulton. Funeral services were held from her late home Friday afternoon; Interment in Jacksonville cemetery. Mrs. Stewart was born in the town of Granby, September 28th, 1847, and had resided in that section all of her life. She was an active member of the Ladies of the G.A.R. Schenck Circle No. 50. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Blakeman of Granby, and was also a member of Lower Oswego Falls Grange.
