Ms. Seattle B. Mantooth, 96, formerly of Gastonia, NC, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Clapps Nursing Center.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at George Brothers Funeral Service with Rev. Chris Phelps officiating. Interment will follow in Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, George and his wife Joyce of Julian, NC, Charles and his wife Lillian of Danville, VA; a brother, Ed Bryant of Newport, Tenn.; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be forever grateful to the entire staff of Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro and Clapps Nursing Center for their loving care. You made her days brighter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave, Greensboro, NC 27405 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
