Peter John Dowling was the son of Irish Immigrants. He had one sister Mary Helen Dowling who was my grandmother. Because both the son and father had the same name there has been a lot of confusion. The photo on this site is of Peter J Dowlings FATHER. Peter J Dowling was buried without a headstone. From left to right Peter Dowling Mary Dowling Then there is big green space where Peter J was buried, next to him is his sister Mary Zurfluh (Previously married to George Stanley James who is buried at Lone Fir Cemetery, in Portland,Oregon) and in that same grave is Virginia James Hodges, daughter of Mary and to the right of that is Adolph Zurfluh
