E. B. Andrews, 78, of 1415 Muller Ave., died at 7:05 a.m. Thursday at the Columbia Hospital after an extended illness.

Mr. Andrews was born in upper Richland County, son of the late J. L. Andrews and the late Lavinia Charlotte Beard. He was retired from the Southern Railroad and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Clerks. He was a member of College Place Methodist Church.

Survivors include a number of cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today from College Place Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Eben Taylor and the Rev. C. S. Floyd. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be John L. Fridy, Bill Moon, Fred McElveen, Jim Mason, Ernest M. Brooks and J. W. Dubard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Southern Railroad Clerks, the official board of College Place Methodist Church, Wilson Davis, Marvin Mack, Judge John Mason, Dr. J. G. Seastrunk and Joe Elliott.
