Dr. Albert C. Pedley, 69, of Columbia, died Sunday at his home.

Dr. Pedley was a native of Yakima, Wash., and had lived in Columbia nine years. He was a physician for 42 years. He had practiced at Sierra Conservation Center. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Pedley of Columbia; children, Mark Pedley of Sunnyvale, Daniel Pedley of Newport Beach, Patrick Pedley of Fremont and Jane Peck and Marianne McClintick, both of Napa; his mother, Irene Pedley of Washington; and 11 grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Terzich & Wilson Funeral Home in Sonora. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sonora. Burial is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette . Visitation will is scheduled from 2 to 7 p.m. today at the chapel.
