He is survived by his wife, Mary F. Coulter of Momence, IL. Also surviving are children Stephen Coulter of St. Anne, IL, Marion Coulter of Momence, IL, Jesse and Susan Coulter of Lakeland, FL, Terry Coulter of Momence, IL, Timothy and Tonia Coulter of St. Anne, IL, John Coulter and Tammy Riddle of West Olive, MI, James and Monica Coulter of St. Anne, IL, Rebecca and Bruce Tammen of Wilmington, IL, Carolyn and Don Waldon of Momence, IL and Donna and Tim Hamilton of Momence, IL. He has 33 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. One sister Edna Cash of Brandon, MS and one brother and sister-in-law: Lawrence and Jackie Coulter of Lamar, AR, as well as many, many nieces and nephews.

He was a veteran of WWII serving with the Marine Corps. He retired from Ford Motor Company as an automation millwright. He attended the Church of the Nazarene in Momence, IL.
