John C. Zerbe, 82, Rt 3 a retired building contractor, was found collasped in his home about 9:30a.m. this morning and was pronouced dead on arrivel at Lima Memorial hopspital. Born , 1871 in Allen County, he was a member of St. Luke's Luthern Church. His wife Alice died August 25, 1952. Surviving are four sons; Ralph, Rt2, Lafayette, George F ,512 Hiolmes Ave, Robert, Ada, and Raymond ,700 Lincoln Ave.; five daughters, Mrs.Mary Craig, Rt2, Lafayette, Mrs. Mack Skinner, Marysville,Washington , Mrs. James Dean ,585 St. Clair , Mrs. Raymond Lowe, Rt 3,.and Mrs Ruth Statler, Belle Center, two sisters Mrs. Clara Smith, 1037 Burch Ave and Mrs Mary Anspach, Harrod; 29 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body will remain at Lewis Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.
