Margaret Lou (Polly) Smith 86 of Morristown was born February 19, 1926, passed away Friday, December 07, 2012 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare Systems.
She attended Central Baptist Church. She loved her church family and friends and was a special lady with a beautiful smile, she shared with everyone who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray G. Smith; parents, Woody Rass Smith and Tressie Quinton Smith; brother, Albert Smith; sisters, Mary Smith, Josie Smith, Helen Wolfe and Anne Smith; half brother, Jack, Jim and Ed; and half sister, Bonnie Vaughn.
Survived by Marshall and Joanne Davis Caregivers of Bean Station; special friend, Helen Moore of Morristown; niece, Patsy Holt of Morristown; nephew, Mike Wolfe of Morristown and numerous neighbors and friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be 7:00 PM, Saturday, December 8, 2012 in Mayes Family Services, Downtown Chapel with Rev. William Bradley and Rev. Bryan Collins officiating. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 9, 2012 in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Saturday prior to the services.
