Marjorie Mae Hartman, 78, surrounded by loved ones, was led by angels to heaven, Mon., Dec. 17, 2012. Born in Cuero, TX, in 1934 to Caesar & Emma Adickes. She and her husband traveled abroad, then settled in Houston, where she began a career in floral design. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Maj. Lee R. Hartman, Jr. (USAF Ret.); 7 children: Barbara & Jerry Thompson; Annette & Peter Chiste; Carol & Floyd Ward; Donna & Kenneth Kimich; Teresa Harris; Patricia & Glenn Robinson; Michael & Paula Hartman; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Melvin & Evelyn Adickes of Conroe; and other family & friends. Visitation: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thurs., Dec. 20, 2012 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. The Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, December 21, 2012 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, Houston, TX. Burial will be held at a later date at Houston National Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2400 Augusta Dr., #175, Houston, TX 77056.
