BELTON — Services for Mozelle Mecom, 93, of Ennis, formerly of Belton, will be 11 a.m. Thursday in North Belton Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Moody officiating.
Mrs. Mecom died Monday, Dec. 17, in Ennis.
She was born Dec. 4, 1919, in Belton to James and Zettie Mabry. She grew up in Belton and graduated from Belton High School in 1935. She married Howard Mecom on Aug. 21, 1937. She lived in Belton, LaMirada, Calif., and Ennis. She was a homemaker and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Ennis.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Mecom and Joe Mecom; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1200 Country Club Road, Ennis, TX 75119.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.
