Curtis Ray Adami, 54, a resident of Freer, Texas, died Monday, May 18, 2009 in his resident after a long illness. He loved to cook and was well known for his Bar-b-que. He was a loving father, peepaw, and uncle that will be sadly missed by all his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Myra Adami.
Curtis is survived by his wife of 34 years of marriage, Melba E. Adami; one son, James L. Adami of Freer, Texas; three daughters, Connie E. Springs of Alice, Texas; Nayhoma (Ruben) Cardona of Orange Grove, Texas; Dovie (Tracy) Stewart of Freer, Texas; his parents, Ira Ray(Peggy) Adami of Freer, Texas and Una V. (Pat) Howard of Freer, Texas; six brothers, Gordon (Monica) Adami of Freer, Texas; Boyd (Kathy) Adami of Freer, Texas; Lonnie Goynes of Freer, Texas; John (Diane) Goynes of Freer, Texas; Stephen Woodward of Indian Apolis, Indiana; James (Angie) Woodward of Tara Haute, Indiana; one sister, Sandy Adami of Freer, Texas; 7grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the Garza Funeral Home in Freer, Texas with a Prayer Services to be recited at 7:00PM that same evening. Funeral Services will be on Friday, May 22, 2009 at 10:00AM at Garza Funeral Home Chapel in Freer, Texas. Interment will follow at Hahl Memorial Cemetery in Freer, Texas.
