Mrs. Mary Jane Finnell, 92, died at 6:45 p.m. Sunday in Community Hospital, where she had been hospitalized more than one month. She lived at 415 Garfield.
Born near Clifton Hill, she had lived in Moberly 75 years. Mrs. Finnell spent her early life in Texas County, Mo. She was a daughter of Thomas Dunivent and Georgia Ann Stephens. She was married to Eugene L. Finnell in 1903. Mrs. Finnell was a member of Carpenter Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas E., Renick, and Cecil, Route 1; one daughter, Mrs. Greyson (Stella) Kimbrough, St. Louis; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alvin, St. Louis; and Albert, Laramie, Wyo; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Alcorn, Laramie, Wyo., She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one infant daughter, one son, three sisters, five brothers, one great-granddaughter.
The body is at the Cater Funeral Home, where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Dr. Joseph P. Grant, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will be in charge. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. today.
