Peter was born on December 8, 1925 to Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Peter and Gertrude Wardell Miller in Port Angeles, Washington. Due to his father's military career the family moved a great deal as he grew up, living in San Francisco, New York City and Tacoma. He attended Stadium High School and Bates Technical College in Tacoma.
He was a veteran of WWII having served in the Coast Guard beginning in 1943 until he was injured in the line of duty in 1944.
He retired in 1983 from the Boeing Company where he was a Draftsman for 15 years.
He was a member of the Disabled Veterans of America, Afifi Shrine, Masada Shrine (Associate), Nile Temple (Honorary), Joseph Warren Lodge #245, Tacoma Elks #174, and numerous other Shrine Organizations.
Peter died on November 23, 1998 and was survived by his loving wife, Pauline M. Miller, who passed in 2012.
