BARENDSE--John Barendse, aged 82, passed away Sunday morning at the Holland Home. Surviving are his wife, Reka; one daughter, Mrs. Fred Wessels; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. B.M. Barendse; three brothers, Gerrit, Ben and Hugo; three sisters, Mrs. C.C. Moll, Mrs. C. Medendorp, Mrs. J.L. Rydell, all of Grand Rapids; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Barendse reposes at the Jonkhoff Funeral Home where services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Henry Bast officiating. Interment Garfield Park Cemetery.
