Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Lucille E. Woodard, age 90, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Northview Cemetery. Rev. Earl Dumon and Mr. Jack Lowe will officiate.

Mrs. Woodard was born on September 23, 1922 in Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Elerba Fowler and Laura Josey Fowler Holmes. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Douglas Dent in 1952 and Jethro Woodard in 1998. She was a member of the Living Church of God. She was retired as a Nursing Aide for Fairview Park Hospital. Mrs. Woodard passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Dublinair Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Woodard is survived by her two sons, Howard C. (Joy) Woodard, of Dudley, and James (Karen) Woodard, of Americus, six grandchildren, Jason Woodard, Craig Wellons, Rachel Clark, Dana Faircloth, Kimberly Castle, and Jessica Woodard, and five great grandchildren, Anna Castle, Hunter Wellons, Seth Wellons, Natalie Wellons, and Hailey Woodard.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the funeral home.
