Edward Barbier's birth date has a lot of questions. His WWI Draft Registration reported it as May 10, 1884. The date of July 30 1976 in Bruly Saint Martin is proposed by Jay Schexnaydre (48561089). His grave markers show date of 1881 while census records suggested 1876 - July 1878. Without primary source I'm leaving birth year as shown on marker.

Obituary:

Died at home from a heart attack.

A native of Ascension Parish, he had resided in Iberville Parish for the previous 10 years. He was manager of a sugar plantation near Plaquemine that was owned by Wilbert Brothers.

He left his widow Alida Alberado; one daughter, Mae; four sons, Irvin, Brother Alphonse, Edward and Percy.
