William Koops, 72, of Artesia, Calif., passed away late Tuesday evening, August 31, following a lingering illness due to a heart condition. Funeral services will be held at
Artesia on Saturday morning, with Rev. Ben Versteeg officiating. Survivors include the widow and six sons, Bernard of Sioux Center, Herman, Jim and Harold, and one daughter, Janet (Mrs. Harold Moret).
Other survivors include 24 grandchildren.
Mr and Mrs. Koops made their home m Sioux Center until 12 years ago when they moved.to
their present home at 12102 183rd St., Artesia.
