Roxie Mae Randolph, 74, of Mason Street, Greeneville, went to be with her Lord Friday at Takoma Regional Hospital.

She was a homemaker and the widow of Don L. Randolph.

She was a member of First Church of God.

She was a loving wife of 53 years and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

Her family came first in her life, and she was a "special angel" and mother to her children. She preferred to put others above herself and had a very giving heart.

Survivors include her daughter: Teresa Sutton; her son and daughter-in-law: Byron and Tammy Randolph, whom she thought of as a second daughter; her special grandson: Eric Sutton; her very special great-granddaughter: Laura Sutton; her great-grandson: Brad Clark; her special sister and brother-in-law: Lois and Robert Crum; her sisters-in-law: Frances Waddell and Mary Belle Waddell; her special brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Ron and JoAnne Randolph; several nieces and nephews; her special friends: Wilma Jones, Jackie Proffitt, Ron and Cheri Crum, Everett and Kathy Cobble, William and JoAnn Knight, Grover and Betty Gunter, Robin and Gary Shepherd, Dave and Mary Winwood, Jim and Charlotte Walker, Joan Bowman; and her friends at Knoll Ridge Apartments: Nancy, Peggy, Cindy, Kathy, Linda, Mary, and Claire.

She was the daughter of the late Curtis and Dovie Waddell and was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Don and Tulan Randolph; her brothers: Carl Junior Waddell, James Waddell, and Blaine Waddell; her sisters: Mary Ruth Waddell and Lucille Waddell; and her brother-in-law: J.C. Waddell.

The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Richard Aasheim and staff and the ICU nurses of Takoma Regional Hospital, including nurses Tina and Kelly.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Steven Aiken and the Rev. Sharon Cobble will officiate.

Family and friends will meet at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to go in procession to GreeneLawn Memory Gardens for an 11 a.m. committal service.

Pallbearers will be Byron Randolph, Eric Sutton, Jackie Proffitt, Mark Crum, Scottie Randolph, Doug Lafollette, Ron Crum, and Ron Randolph.

Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Waddell, Ronnie Waddell, Jackie Waddell, J.D. Swatzell, Marty Waddell, and Mike Waddell.
