MUSE: Bobby Derrell Muse Sr., 66, of Tyrone passed away Monday, Jan. 26, at his residence. The family will receive friends at Bright Funeral Home on Thursday from 7-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 aim. At Bright Funeral Home with Chaplain David Strain officiating: Interment will he in Fort Bayard National Cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Muse was born March 8, 1931, in Apache, Okla., the son of Fred G. Muse and Eula Lawson Muse. He was married to Marian Elizabeth Cook on Feb. 5, 1966, in Lordsburg. Mr. Muse is survived by two daughters, Roberta Keene and her husband, Leslie, of Silver City, and Laura Bernal and her husband, Fred, of Safford, Ariz.; four sons, Bobby Muse of Moriarty, Derick Muse of Brunswick, Ohio, and Kelly Muse and Hank Muse, both of Albuquerque; three stepdaughters; Marilyn Westerfield of Truth or Consequences, Melanie Mohr of Safford, and Susan Britton and her husband, Jim, of White Signal; three stepsons John Mohr and his wife, Carol, of LaGrange, Calif., Jim Mohr of White Signal, and Joe Mohr and his wife, Lauren, of Galconda, Nev.; 10 grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren two brothers, Carl Muse and his wife, Ann, of Deyline, La., Frank Muse and his wife, Susie, of Hasting, La., and four sisters, Ann Boucher and her husband, Gordon, of Deyline, Voncelle Moore and her husband, Bill, of Minden, La., Lea Davenport of Pinellas Park, Fla., and Lauretta Leckner of Sabetha, Kan. Mr. Muse was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Muse, in 1996; his parents; one brother, Fred Muse Jr.; and one sister, Lou Sanders. Mr. Muse served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of American Legion Post No. 46 of Hur1ey, and The American Quarter Horse Association. He retired from Kennecott as a mill operator after 20 years. He then owned and operated Muse roofing Co for 25 years. Mr. Muse was a member of the Church of Christ Latter-Day-saints. Curtis-Bright is in charge.
