Clara E. Parsons, 95 of Jacksonville Beach, Florida died on February 14, 2006 at the Avante of Jacksonville Beach. She was born on December 3, 1910 in Jackson County, Georgia, the daughter of the late John and Ellen Reynolds. She moved to Jacksonville Beach, Florida in 1943.
She was the loving wife of Aubrey B. Parsons for 72 years and the mother of 6 children that loved her dearly. She loved her church, family and friends very much.
She is survived by her children, Hazel Chastain, Gene (Judy) Parsons, Clara M. Bothwell, Jack (Carol) Parsons, Larry Parsons and Betty (Mike) Norton, 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, a sister Faye (Bill) Haley, numerous great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Parsons was preceded in death by a son John D. Parsons, sisters, Annie Reynolds and Johnie Reynolds Lovern, brothers A.J. Reynolds and W.C. Reynolds.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 10:00 AM at H. Warren Smith Cemetery, Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The family wishes to thank Avante of Jacksonville Beach for the love and care they provided.
Mrs. Parsons will be greatly missed by all of her family and will be forever in their hearts. Arrangements provided by the Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, Jacksonville Beach.
