Sarah Elkington Droubay, age 87, died 24 September 1993 in Tallahassee, Florida.

She was born 4 May 1906 in Tooele, Utah, to William Henry and Isabell Bevan Elkington. She is the last of the family of nine children.

She married Ivan Charles Droubay, 10 November 1928 in Salt Lake City, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He died 25 June 1983. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Lifelong member of the LDS Church, she held many positions. She loved outdoor activities with family and friends.

She is survived by a son, Dale I. Droubay and wife, Velma, of Clearfield, Utah; a daughter, Mrs. Ned (Carol) Bliss, of Tallahassee, Florida; grandchildren, Jeffray (Nina) Droubay, of Virginia; Mrs. Gordon (Nina) Doxey, of Roy, Utah; Michael Droubay, of San Francisco, Calif.; Gary T. (Tawney) Droubay, of San Angelo, Texas; Mark E. (Teresa) Bliss, of Greeneville, North Carolina; Steven C. (Lisa) Bliss, of Tallahassee, Florida; Kent W. Bliss, of Norfolk, Virginia; Brooke Allen Bliss, of Tallahassee, Florida; 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services held 28 September 1993 in Tallahassee, Florida, where she has lived the past ten years. There will be a graveside service held 1 Oct at 11 a.m. in Tooele City Cemetery. Services arranged through Tate Mortuary.
