He is survived by his
loving wife of 50 years, Patricia B. "Patty" Daye Durig;
two children, Denise (Jay) Jepsen and Dennis (Christine) Durig;
three granddaughters, Anna & Lily Durig and Victoria Jepsen;
several nieces and nephews.
Eddie was a 1958 graduate of Roosevelt High School and retired as a Captain with the Dayton Fire Department after 25 years in 1990. He was a member of the Living Word Church and the Dayton Gym.
Funeral service at the Living Word Church, 926 E. National Rd., Dayton, Ohio with Pastors Patrick Murray and Dennis Durig officiating. Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
