Carol Yvonne Shanholtz, 72, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on December 14, 2012 at home. She was the wife of H. Jack Shanholtz, her husband of 20 years.Born Nov. 3, 1940 in Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of Ellen Fronzoli of Mt. Airy and the late Daphno Fronzoli. She graduated from Conemaugh Township High School and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force shortly thereafter.In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by two daughters, Michelle Falcon and Sharon Miller & husband Erich; three grandchildren, Holly, Paul, and Erich; a great-grandson, Michael; siblings, Sandy Eash & husband David, Tarris Fronzoli & wife Carol, Tim Fronzoli & wife Kathy, Louann Livengood & husband Gary and Keri Benton & husband Jim; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 18th from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Chapel Mausoleum of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 U.S. Route 15N in Frederick, where a funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM on Tuesday. Interment with military honors will follow in the Veterans Garden of Honor II at Resthaven. Poinsettias are welcome or, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Arrangements are with Resthaven Funeral Services, Skkot Cody P.A. in Frederick.
