60TH ANNIVERSARY - Liedels mark anniversary milestone - Herman W. and Anna M. (Dersey) Liedel celebrated 60th wedding anniversary recently with their
family. Also Mrs. Liedel celebrated her 80th birthday on Thursday, also with their family.

Mr. Liedel, the son of Martin and Julie (Eby) Liedel, and Mrs Liedel, the
daughter of Charles and Marcella (Kazekevicz) Dersey, were married Sept.
28, 1934, in St Joseph's Catholic Church Maybee.

The couple have two sons, Donald R. and Gilbert C. Liedel, both of Monroe,
and four grand-children.

Herman had passed away in his sleep on Sunday
October 30, 1994. On November 2, 1994 the day of Herman's funeral
was a sunny and cool day. Rupp Funeral Home was in charge of the
burial details. Father Jay Somonie, pastor of St. Michael's Catholic
Church, Monroe, Mi. said a resurrection liturgy for him and his
family. Friends and relatives came from many parts of the county to
see Herman for the last time. Many friends and relatives not seen for
some time visited with Herman's family that day. Herman Wendel Liedel
now rest at St Joseph's Cemetery in Monroe, Michigan. He now belongs
to the Liedel legacy.
