Mrs. Yow was born in Randolph County, October 14, 1847, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Jackson Garner. She lived with her daughter for the past twenty years. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Moore County.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Reynolds and Mrs. Daisy Meadows, of Belews Creek; one son, M. S. Yow, Forsyth County; 34 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Reynolds, at 4:00 this afternoon. The Rev. G.C. Graham will be in charge. Burial will be in Sharon Methodist Church cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
