In January 1916 tragedy strikes her most treasured family member once again. Her sister-in-law Missouri Fuller came to visit over the Christmas holiday and becomes ill. Within days she succumbed to her illness and dies. Days later her eldest son Hiram Osborn also falls ill and within days of his aunt he also dies. The next day her father who also lives with her dies suddenly. All dying in her home within nine days of each other. It was said they all had pneumonia.
So at the age of 43 Elizabeth has lost many loved ones and experienced a lot of grief that would kill most of us.
I pray she is rejoicing with all of them now.
