Arthur Dubose "A.D" Wilson died Friday, December 14, 2012, at his home in the Lamberttown community.

Mr. Wilson was born May 20, 1931, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Arthur James Wilson and the late Bertie Mae Martin Wilson.

He was a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was a church musician. He retired as a machinist from Detyen's Shipyard. He helped organize the Gospel Filling Station in Lamberttown

He was survived by his wife Bertha Bernice Ward Wilson of Lamberttown; a stepson, Bruce (Dianne) Cusack of Lamberttown; a son, Randy (Elaine) Wilson of Andrews; two daughters, Rita (Phillip) Wilson of Lamberttown and Penny (Randy) Cox of Andrews; a sister, Frances Wilson (Dan) Cumbie of Andrews; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a step-grandson, Will Cusack; three brothers, Woodrow Wilson, Charles Timothy Wilson, and Bishop Wilson; and a sister, Vera Wilson (John Oscar) Howard.

The funeral was Sunday, December 16, 2012, in Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church, officiated by the Rev. Chris Browder. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, followed in Lambert Cemetery.
