Emogene "Jean" Fantuzzo, 95, of Lower Burrell, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, in Bel Air Nursing Home, Lower Burrell. She was born Dec. 12, 1917, in Natrona, to the late William and Nancy Keller Huey and had lived in Lower Burrell since 1947. She had previously resided in Arnold. Jean was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church in Lower Burrell and was a proud member of the "Steeler Nation" and enjoyed sports, cards and traveling. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce F. Laney, of Lower Burrell; a son, Vincent C. "Fanny" (Jerilou) Fantuzzo, of Ashland, Ky.; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, six stepgrandchildren, nine step great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Phillip Fogle, of Natrona Heights. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent C. Fantuzzo; daughter, Nancy C. Fogle; grandsons, Neil Laney and John J. Martinka; son-in-law, Neil Laney; two brothers, Willard and Earl Huey; and a sister, Catherine Wilson. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder Street, Lower Burrell, where parting prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell.
