Services for Otto Christensen, 80, who died at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital Sunday, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Anderson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rollin G. Oswald, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Ellsworth, Iowa.

He was born Feb. 1, 1889, near Jewell, a son of. Peter and Lena Petersen Christensen.

April 24, 1907, he married Winnie Lakin at Jewell. They farmed in the Jewell and Ellsworth area before coining to Iowa Falls in 1935. He was employed by the city for a number of years.

Survivors include his widow; five daughters, Mrs. Lester Olson of Ellsworth, Mrs. Lester Severeide of Ames, Mrs. Leslie Gisell of Waterloo, Mrs. Leland Flagg of Cameron, Mo., and Mrs. Eddie Simpson of North Liberty; two sons, Laurence of Garden Grove, Calif., and Leo of Wiemuma, Fla.; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Petersen of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, Alfred of Jewell. He was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister, one daughter and one son.
