Daughter of John Milton "Milt" Durham & Drucilla Bell Milhoan. She married Jesse Lee Cook.
Funeral services for Mrs. Laura N. Cook, 83, were held Thursday, May 24, at 2:30 p.m. in Church of Christ in Shamrock. James Douglas, minister, officiated.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Burial was in the Shamrock Cemetery under direction of Richerson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cook died suddenly Tuesday noon in the Golden Spread Nursing Center of Shamrock where she had been living for the past 18 months.
Born October 12, 1889, in Charleston, Arkansas, she had lived in McLean for 15 years before moving to Shamrock.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Zelma Davis of Bristow, Oklahoma, Mrs. T.L. Wilson of Roland, Oklahoma and Mrs. Oscar Vernon of Tatum, N.M.; six sons, Buster of Houston, Esra of Charlestown, Arkansas; Boots of Shamrock, Jack of Fort Smith, Arkansas; J.D. of Tatum, New Mexico, Jodi of Pampa; 34 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
