A native of Dekalb County, Mrs. Leach was a nurse at Dekalb Medical Center for 25 years and was a lifelong member of Peachcrest Christian Church.
She is survived by daughter Jackie Smith of Covington; sons, Walter H. "Buddy" Leach, Jr. and Deedra of Monroe, Jeffrey A. Leach of Monroe; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Jean Cook of Covington, Priscilla Alhstead of Loganville; brothers, Tim Mills of Conyers and Jimmy Mills of Jenkinsburg; several nieces & nephews. Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Houston Leach and brother, Julius Mills.
