Merrell L. Zellers, 93, of Bloomington, died Thursday at Richland-Bean Blossom Health Care Center in Ellettsville.

Born May 7, 1906, in Dahlgren, Ill., he was the son of Frank M. and Gracie Mae (Gage) Zellers.

He was retired from Public Service Indiana and was a member of First Baptist Church/United Church of Christ.

Survivors include:
1 son, Richard Zellers of Muncie;
2 brothers, Everette Zellers and Floyd Zellers, both of Dahlgren;
1 sister, Ruth Loftus of Orlando, Fla.;
1 granddaughter:
1 great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by:
Wife, Alberta (Kaehler) Zellers, in 1977.

Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Day Mortuary. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Dahlgren.
