Mabel, a resident of Dixon, was predeceased by her parents Leonardo and Victoriana Martinez; sister Emilia Maes; and brothers: Gilbert and Manuel Martinez.

Mabel was survived by her sisters: Anita Martinez and Juanita Gonzales (husband Jose F.); sister-in-law Adela Martinez, all of Dixon; and numerous other loving relatives & friends.

Mabel was a gentle soul. She was a quiet individual for the most part. She enjoyed going out with family for car rides. She also enjoyed the outings with the Taos Living Center Staff, but she spent most of her time at the Taos House. Mabel was known to enjoy her Spanish music. She will be dearly missed.

Public visitation and devotional service were on December 14, 2012 at the Apostolic Church in Dixon. Funeral service was on December 15, 2012 also at the Apostolic Church in Dixon. Burial followed in the Apostolic Cemetery. Pallbearers: Norman Martinez, Floyd Gonzales, Paul Martinez, Michael Medina, Clyde Maes and Gilbert Martinez. Honorary pallbearers: Leonard, Daniel and Norman Martinez Jr. and Brandon Medina.
