Our beloved mother, Margaret Banke, passed of natural causes October 26, 2012. She was married to Robert John Banke, October 14, 1939 in Buchanan, Michigan. Robert preceded her in death on December 1, 2004. Her daughter Sally Ann Shuford also preceded her in death in February of 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Evalina Richter; brothers, Oscar (Perry) Richter, Lyle Richter, sisters Mary Forthman and Dorothy Bachman.
She is survived by her sister, Myra (Babe) Habicht; daughters, Judith Banke and Barbara Banke; five grandchildren, Julie (Anthony) McGee, Rob (Michelle) Shuford, Katey Good, Sarah (Jeremy) Payne and Kristy (Max) Miller; and five great-grandchildren.

Margaret and Robert made their home on Dayton Road which belonged to her great-grandparents and is now a centennial farm. She and her husband farmed until Robert went into the plumbing business with his father. When Robert took over the business Margaret helped by doing office work and taking calls until they retired. She was also a homemaker who liked to knit, garden, read books and go fishing (but not clean them) with her husband through their retirement. Margaret loved watching song birds, flowers and her pets. She will be very much missed by her family. We love you.
