Kenneth Wesley Hollinger of Greenwood Village, Colorado, formerly of Venice, Florida, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2005. He was 86. He was born Jan. 5, 1919, in Blue Island, Illinois. On March 30, 1944, he married Lois H. Fredericksen, the daughter of William J. and Clara C. (Fensch) Fredericksen. He was an air traffic control specialist, and later a manager for the Federal Aviation Administration until his retirement in 1975. He was a decorated pilot and first lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Air Corps, serving in World War II. Following his retirement he lived in Venice on a part-time basis, and later full time, until August 2005.
