David Charles Stevens, 80, Venice, died Sept. 25, 2000.
He was born Nov. 20, 1919, in Clementon, N.J., and came to Venice in 1999 from Hadley, Mich. He was a salesman for Dubois Chemical Co. of Detroit before retiring. He served as a cook and a baker in the Merchant Marine during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara L. Cope; three daughters, Gale B. Woods of Rochester, Mich., Judith N. Hadley of Zebulon, N.C., and Lynne C. Peter of Venice; and five grandchildren.
Services will be later. Farley Funeral Home is in charge.
